The Farmer And His Wife Story

| Honesty is the best policy story |
There lived a poor but worthy farmer. With the small income of his few acres of land, he did not use to support himself, his wife and their 7 children. One day, while walking through the fields, I was thinking about how I could increase my income. He found a gold bag, which had been dropped by a passerby. He took it home and showed it to his wife, who advised him to use it or at least a part for him or her. The honest farmer told his wife that honesty is the best policy and that he would first try to discover the man who had lost her. The owner of the bag, a resourceful man, was finally discovered by the farmer. The rich man took the bag and thanked her, but no reward. The wife rebuked the husband for his foolishness. The honest farmer said, "Honesty is the best policy."
Moral : Honesty is the best policy.
