The Crow And The Pitcher

The Crow And The Pitcher
One day a crow became very thirsty in a hot summer day. It wanted to drink water. It flew here and there in search of water but couldn't find water anywhere. At last, it saw a pitcher in the distance and flew down there to drink water. But the water was lying low at the bottom of the pitcher. It tried again and again to reach the water but all in vain. But the crow was very clever. It hit upon a plan. It looked round and saw some little pebbles near the pitcher. Then he dropped the pebbles one by one into the pitcher. At last, the level of water rose high up and the crow drank to his heart's content and flew away.
